Switch to AgFed

Switching your accounts to AgFed is easy, and we’re here to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Follow these five simple steps to make your switch:

Step 1: Get Organized

Gather all information about the existing account(s) you want to transfer.

Step 2: Open your new AgFed Checking Account

If you don't already have a checking account with us, open your new account online.

Step 3: Change your Direct Deposits

Contact your employer or other income source and provide them with your AgFed account information. You will need to provide them with AgFed’s routing number and your account number.

Step 4: Update your Automatic Payments

Identify any old payments that are tied to your old account such as utility bills, subscription services or loan payments. Contact each vendor or creditor and provide them with your new account information.

Step 5: Close your Old Account

After confirming that all of your automatic payments and direct deposits have been transferred to your new AgFed account, contact your old financial institution to close your account. Destroy any unused checks, debit or credit cards, and deposit slips associated with your old account.
